Even though these two had already officially tied the knot a few months prior, they wanted to bring their family and friends together for a celebration that no one would forget. And let me tell you, they delivered!
A Family-Centered Celebration
Family was at the heart of this day. I always recommend engagement sessions as a way to get to know my couples before the wedding, but in this case, I had the pleasure of photographing Farheen’s extended family months earlier. By the time I arrived at Four Oaks Country Club, I already felt like I was walking into a family reunion (but, like, the really fun kind).
Farheen and Mike made sure their big day wasn’t just about the two of them—it was about everyone in the room. From the heartfelt moments to the absolute dance-floor madness, the energy in the room was electric.
A Ceremony Like No Other
Traditionally, the groom waits at the front for the bride, right? Not at this wedding. Mike danced down the aisle, setting the tone for the night ahead. Then, in the most adorable moment ever, Farheen and her son followed with their own dance down the aisle, making their entrance extra special.
The joy, the movement, the vibes—this wasn’t just a wedding ceremony. It was a celebration of love, family, and pure happiness.

Instead of traditional flowers, Farheen & Mike opted for lush greenery and a breathtaking lighting setup designed by CID Event Productions. The result? A romantic, sophisticated, and effortlessly beautiful space that set the perfect backdrop for their night of festivities.
The Most Epic First Dance… Ever
I’ve seen my fair share of first dances, but this one? This one was on a whole other level.
Farheen and Mike took “first dance” to new heights with a fully choreographed routine that left every guest cheering. Just when I thought the night couldn’t get any better, their closest friends and family jumped in for a second choreographed dance that was equally show-stopping.
A Dance Floor That Never Quit
From the first dance to the very last song of the night, the dance floor was packed. DJ Mehul Patel spun the perfect blend of Indian music and today’s biggest hits, creating the ultimate soundtrack for an unforgettable night. Every guest—from little kids to grandparents—was on their feet, dancing like there was no tomorrow.
Sweet Moments: Cake Cutting & Speeches
The cake, crafted beautifully by Yallem Cake Shop, was not only stunning but also delicious. The cake cutting was such a sweet moment, literally and figuratively!
The speeches during the night were unforgettable. Farheen’s son gave the first heartfelt speech, expressing his love and joy for his mom and Mike. Following him, Mike’s sister delivered her touching speech and performed a beautiful song on her guitar, adding a personal and emotional touch to the evening.
Hair, Makeup, and All the Glam
Farheen looked absolutely stunning, thanks to the talented team at Indigo Salon & Day Spa in Chelmsford, MA. They created a flawless, glowing look that perfectly complemented the romantic vibe of the day.
