The Dell-Lea wedding of Matt and Samantha on November 1st was nothing short of beautiful. The crisp New England air, fiery autumn foliage, and a shared giggles between the couple created a day that was as unforgettable as it was heartfelt.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Matt and Samantha’s wedding would be a day to remember. Each moment was infused with love, laughter, and an undeniable connection between the couple.

The stunning views at Dell Lea provided a naturally beautiful backdrop. The outdoor ceremony site was framed by rolling hills and gorgeous views.

The theme of the wedding was cozy, romantic autumn vibes brought to life with a maroon and blush color palette. Floral arrangements adorned the tables, while warm candlelight and twinkle lights created a magical atmosphere inside the reception hall.

The day began with Samantha getting ready in Dell Lea’s cozy bridal suite. Her mom and bridesmaids were by her side, bustling with excitement as Samantha slipped into her elegant gown. Watching her mom button the back of her dress while her best friends cheered her on was a touching moment that set the tone for the day.

The outdoor ceremony site at Dell-Lea is known for its sweeping views, and Samantha and Matt’s ceremony took full advantage of the landscape. When Matt saw Samantha walk down the aisle, the emotion on his face brought tears to the eyes of many guests, reminding everyone of the depth of their love.

Laughter echoed during the ceremony as the wind carried Samantha’s veil in every direction, adding a spontaneous charm to the vows. The brisk November breeze made the outdoor ceremony a memorable experience. Guests clutched their coats while Samantha and Matt embraced it all, literally letting the wind carry them into the start of their marriage.

Their vows were a beautiful mix of sincerity and lightheartedness, perfectly mirroring their personalities. As the officiant announced them as husband and wife, their first kiss was met with cheers from their guests—and the joy radiating from them at that moment made it one of my favorite shots of the day.

As the evening transitioned into the reception, Dell-Lea’s rustic yet refined hall glowed under twinkle lights. The couple kicked things off with a choreographed first dance that left their guests clapping and cheering.

One of the most unique moments of the reception was the “table photo race.” This is a fairly new trend that I just LOVE for table photos. The DJ played one song, and Matt and Samantha raced around the room to take a photo with every table before the song ended. Watching them sprint from table to table, laughing and hugging their guests, was one of the most fun and candid parts of the evening.

Every wedding comes with its challenges, and for Samantha and Matt’s day, the biggest obstacle was the wind. While it made for a dramatic and memorable ceremony, it also created a few hurdles during portraits. Fortunately, the wind calmed down by the time we started the couple’s photos, allowing us to capture some truly stunning moments.

Fun fact: Matt and Samantha’s shared last name is Kelley and Kelly—meaning the only change Samantha had to make after the wedding was adding an “e.” This fun coincidence brought extra humor and charm to the day.

Samantha and Matt’s wedding was a celebration of love, joy, and resilience—complete with windy kisses and spontaneous laughter. Their ability to embrace every moment, from the chaos of the wind to the intimacy of their first dance, made their day truly special.
