A Romantic Wedding at Willowdale Estate | Kaylee & Matt

This past June, Kaylee and Matt traveled all the way from Texas to tie the knot at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. It was a beautiful wedding venue, as the castle-like estate provided an amazing backdrop to their romantic photos.

Willowdale Estate has been one of my favorite venues in New England ever since my husband and I looked to get married there in 2014. I had never shot there before so when I was invited to photograph Kaylee and Matt’s wedding by Jill Mac Photography I jumped at the chance. The venue’s location just north of Boston provides an escape from the city without feeling too far away, and the grounds are so beautiful that they don’t need much decoration to look gorgeous. The bride, groom, and their families did an amazing job with all the details, though, so it was still easy to get great shots even with all the great decor around me!

Every detail of this wedding was perfect! From the beautiful flowers, to the two wedding cakes (made by the incredibly talented mother of the groom) to the coordinated mother/son dance to Elvis’ Burning Love each decision made by the couple looked incredibly well thought out and meaningful.

All in all, Kaylee and Matt’s wedding was an absolutely gorgeous event and I hope they have a long, happy marriage together!
