Branding Session at Stevens-Coolidge Place | Lemons and Labor
I recently joined a group called Boston Business Women, a community for women business owners in the Greater Boston area. Through BBW I was blessed enough to meet Marissa, owner of Lemons and Labor.
Marissa and I wandered (and may have got a bit lost 🤣) around Stevens-Coolidge Place in Andover, MA for a branding session. Marissa recently started her new business, Lemons and Labor, which provides doula services for expecting moms. Stevens-Coolidge provided a stunning and whimsical backdrop for her session. The flowers combined with her bright outfits and lots of lemons made for some beautiful and fun photos.
I personally did not use a doula for either of my kids, so naturally I spent the entire session trying to figure out exactly what a doula does. Let me tell you…she knows her stuff! It sounds like should would be an incredible support person before, during and after labor. She also specializes in emotional support after trauma such as sexual violence, miscarriage, abortion, and fertility difficulties. I would definitely recommend her to any expecting mommas out there!
Also..lets talk about her adorable crocheted uterus, pelvis and baby because they’re the stinking cutest! 🧶
